A) Lake Elsigenalp
https://elsigen-metsch.chThere are many attractions such as a barbecue area and a small bathing lake and animals. There are not so many tourists there, you can really enjoy it. There is a bus to the Elsigbach valley station (not free). The journey there by car from Frutigen takes about 20 minutes, then you can take the cable car (price reduction of about 20% with the Frutigen-guest card) up to the alp. Alternatively, there is a car parking further up, from where you can reach the lake in 30 minutes on foot.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/GUtG4dEH2XjeVoGS6?g_st=icWe suggest you drive to the car parking on the road there in the forest (see map https://maps.app.goo.gl/Cf4MTEM5KvRnyX7u6?g_st=ic ), then hike with a beautiful view of the mountain landscape, enjoy the lake and the flowers and the alp and take a snack with you or eat something delicious in the restaurant. Sometimes it is possible to join the alpine cheesmaker and see his work.
You may go up to the top of the mountain (1 ½ h) or to the natural blue and lovely lake. There are many fireplaces free of charge with wood for free. You may need a fire lighter or matches and some paper for lighting the wood. At this place and at the way up and back on a roundtrip you see many alp flowers only to be found on the alps.
If the children don’t want to walk back, one parent can take the cable car with the children and ride down, which is great fun. The other parent can walk back to the car half an hour earlier and drive down to the valley station of the cable car, which you can’t miss, and pick up the others there.
If there is anything left over from the day, the next tip can be used on the same day or on another day.

B.) Hostalden suspension bridge
(Also suitable in case of bad weather. Equipped with an umbrella, it is a great experience even in the rain. You can take the bus in the direction of Adelboden to Hostalden (this bus is free with the guest card, which is free for our guests) or park your car in the free car park and walk over the 150 m long swinging bridge (free if you consume something in the Hängebrüggbeizli, otherwise CHF 1). It’s not dangerous at all, but very impressive! Depending on whether you want to and have time and what the weather is like, you can hike from the village of Frutigen for about 1 hour, all through beautiful nature, forest and along the river, so not steep or dangerous. Then you can cross the suspension bridge, where the Hängebrüggbeizli serves ice cream, coffee, cake, wine, drinks and, if you wish to try, a delicious Hängebrügg plate (homemade bread, thinly sliced meat and sausage, dried meat from the region and flavoursome real alpine cheese from the Elsigen – Alp with the small lake(!).) Afterwards you can walk back on the other side of the river to the village of Frutigen, or if necessary take the bus (guest card = free) right by the suspension bridge (bus stop is also called Hostalden) back to Frutigen (to the Widi bus stop, right at the supermarket) and from there three minutes to the car or take the bus stop at the railway station.

C.) Gasterntal near Kandersteg
20 min drivingfrom Frutigento Kandersteg (all through Kandersteg at the end of the village😉) you can pay a fee and drive yourself up into the Gasterntal (only for experienced drivers – steep, narrow, tunnel without hard shoulder…) or take the Gasternbus (not free).
https://www.gasterntal.chThe Gasterntal is a wonderful nature experience. Take the train from Frutigen (guest card = free) to Kandersteg, which is an over 100 year old interesting mountain train route with 270° tunnels! Or from Frutigen by bus. From Kandersteg with the local bus and the Gasternbus into the Gasterntal valley, an incredibly exciting journey in steep rock with a car tunnel. When you get off, you find such a beautiful and unspoilt area, you can hike along the river, or climb mountains if you want, as long and as far as you want, there are flowers and forests, you feel like you’re in paradise! (Except when the bus passes by once every 2 hours ;). There are also fireplaces and further back in the valley (depending on which bus stop you get off at) there is a restaurant and a beautiful suspension bridge to marvel at very close to the mountain river. The bus stop for the return journey is right next to the restaurant. This is unforgettable.

A) Lac Elsigenalp
https://elsigen-metsch.chIl y a de nombreuses attractions, comme une aire de barbecue, un petit lac de baignade et des animaux. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de touristes, ce qui permet d’en profiter pleinement. Un bus dessert la station de la vallée d’Elsigbach (payant). Le trajet en voiture depuis Frutigen dure environ 20 minutes, puis vous pouvez prendre le téléphérique (réduction d’environ 20 % avec la carte d’hôte de Frutigen) jusqu’à l’alpage. Il existe également un parking un peu plus haut, d’où l’on peut rejoindre le lac en 30 minutes à pied.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/GUtG4dEH2XjeVoGS6?g_st=icNous vous conseillons de vous rendre en voiture jusqu’au parking situé sur la route dans la forêt (voir la carte https://maps.app.goo.gl/Cf4MTEM5KvRnyX7u6?g_st=ic ), puis de faire une randonnée avec une vue magnifique sur le paysage montagneux, de profiter du lac, des fleurs et de l’alpage et d’emporter un en-cas ou de manger quelque chose de délicieux au restaurant. Il est parfois possible de rejoindre le fromager d’alpage et de voir son travail.
Vous pouvez monter au sommet de la montagne (1 ½ h) ou au lac naturel bleu et charmant. Il y a de nombreux foyers gratuits avec du bois gratuit. Vous aurez peut-être besoin d’un briquet ou d’allumettes et de papier pour allumer le bois. A cet endroit et sur le chemin de l’aller et du retour, vous verrez de nombreuses fleurs alpines que l’on ne trouve que dans les Alpes.
Si les enfants ne veulent pas revenir à pied, un parent peut prendre le téléphérique avec les enfants et descendre, ce qui est très amusant. L’autre parent peut revenir à la voiture une demi-heure plus tôt et conduire jusqu’à la station de la vallée du téléphérique, que vous ne pouvez pas manquer, et y récupérer les autres.
S’il reste quelque chose de la journée, l’ éxcursion suivant peut être fait le même jour ou un autre jour.

B.) Pont suspendu de Hostalden
(Convient également en cas de mauvais temps. Équipé d’un parapluie, c’est une expérience formidable même sous la pluie. Trouver l’emplacement avec google maps : https://maps.app.goo.gl/uuCB9C8cFSyhZqio7?g_st=icIl s’agit d’un joli pont suspendu (construit par SWISSROPE). Vous pouvez prendre le bus en direction d’Adelboden jusqu’à Hostalden (ce bus est gratuit avec la carte d’hôte, qui est gratuite pour nos hôtes) ou garer votre voiture dans le parking gratuit et marcher sur le pont suspendu de 150 m de long (gratuit si vous consommez quelque chose au Hängebrüggbeizli, sinon CHF 1). Ce n’est pas dangereux, mais très impressionnant ! Selon votre envie, votre temps et les conditions météorologiques, vous pouvez faire une randonnée d’environ 1 heure depuis le village de Frutigen, dans une nature magnifique, dans la forêt et le long de la rivière, donc sans dénivelé ni danger. Vous pouvez ensuite traverser le pont suspendu, où le Hängebrüggbeizli sert des glaces, du café, des gâteaux, du vin, des boissons et, si vous le souhaitez, une délicieuse assiette Hängebrügg (pain fait maison, viande et saucisse en fines tranches, viande séchée de la région et savoureux vrai fromage d’alpage de l’Elsigen – Alp avec le petit lac ( !)). Ensuite, vous pouvez retourner à pied de l’autre côté de la rivière jusqu’au village de Frutigen, ou si nécessaire prendre le bus (carte d’hôte = gratuit) juste à côté du pont suspendu (l’arrêt de bus s’appelle aussi Hostalden) jusqu’à Frutigen (jusqu’à l’arrêt de bus Widi, juste à côté du supermarché) et de là, trois minutes jusqu’à la voiture ou prendre l’arrêt de bus à la gare ferroviaire.

C.) Gasterntal près de Kandersteg
20 min en voiture depuis Frutigen, vous pouvez payer une taxe et conduire vous-même dans le Gasterntal (seulement pour les conducteurs expérimentés – raide, étroit, tunnel sans bas-côté…) ou prendre le bus Gastern (pas gratuit).
https://www.gasterntal.chLe Gasterntal est une magnifique expérience naturelle. Depuis Frutigen, prenez le train (carte d’hôte=gratuit) jusqu’à Kandersteg, c’est une route de montagne intéressante avec un tunnel à 270° ! Ou à partir de Frutigen en bus. De Kandersteg avec le bus local et le Gasternbus dans le Gasterntal, un trajet incroyablement stimulant dans une roc avec un tunnel pour voitures. Quand vous arrivez, vous trouvez une région si belle et intacte, vous pouvez vous promener le long de la rivière, ou faire de l’escalade si vous voulez, aussi longtemps et aussi loin que vous voulez, il y a des fleurs et des forêts, vous vous sentez comme au paradis ! (Sauf quand le bus passe 1x toutes les 2 heures ;). Il y a aussi des foyers et plus loin dans la vallée (selon l’arrêt où vous descendez du bus), il y a un restaurant et un beau pont suspendu à éssayer tout près au-dessus du ruisseau de montagne. L’arrêt de bus pour le retour se trouve juste à côté du restaurant. C’est manifique.

A) Elsigenalpsee
https://elsigen-metsch.chHier gibt es viele Attraktionen wie einen Grillplatz, einen kleinen Badesee und Tiere. Es sind nicht so viele Touristen dort, man kann es wirklich genießen. Es gibt einen Bus zur Seilbahn Talstation Elsigbach (nicht gratis). Die Fahrt mit dem Auto von Frutigen dorthin dauert ca. 20 Minuten, dann kann man mit der Luftseilbahn (Ermässigung von ca. 20% mit der Frutigen-Gästekarte) auf die Alp fahren. Alternativ gibt es weiter oben einen Parkplatz, von dem aus man den See in 30 Minuten zu Fuss erreichen kann.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/GUtG4dEH2XjeVoGS6?g_st=icWir empfehlen Ihnen, mit dem Auto bis zum Parkplatz an der Strasse dort im Wald zu fahren (siehe Karte https://maps.app.goo.gl/Cf4MTEM5KvRnyX7u6?g_st=ic ), dann mit schöner Aussicht auf die Berglandschaft zu wandern, den See und die Blumen und die Alp zu geniessen und eine Brotzeit mitzunehmen oder im Restaurant etwas Feines zu essen. Manchmal ist es möglich, den Alpkäser zu begleiten und ihm bei seiner Arbeit zuzusehen.
Sie können auf den Gipfel des Berges (1 ½ h) oder zum natürlichen blauen und schönen See gehen. Es gibt viele kostenlose Feuerstellen mit kostenlosem Holz. Sie benötigen ein Feuerzeug oder Streichhölzer und etwas Papier zum Anzünden des Holzes. An diesem Ort und auf dem Hin- und Rückweg sehen Sie viele Alpenblumen, die es nur auf den Alpen gibt.
Wenn die Kinder nicht zu Fuß zurückgehen wollen, kann ein Elternteil mit den Kindern die Seilbahn nehmen und hinunterfahren, was ein großer Spaß ist. Der andere Elternteil kann eine halbe Stunde früher zum Auto zurücklaufen und zur Talstation der Seilbahn hinunterfahren, die man nicht verfehlen kann, und die anderen dort abholen.
Wenn vom Tag etwas übrig bleibt, kann der nächste Tipp am selben oder an einem anderen Tag verwendet werden.

B.) Hängebrücke Hostalden
(Auch bei schlechtem Wetter geeignet. Mit einem Regenschirm ausgerüstet, ist es auch bei Regen ein tolles Erlebnis. Sie können mit dem Bus Richtung Adelboden nach Hostalden fahren (dieser Bus ist mit der Gästekarte, die für unsere Gäste gratis ist, kostenlos) oder Sie parken Ihr Auto auf dem kostenlosen Parkplatz und gehen zu Fuss über die 150 m lange Hängebrücke (gratis, wenn Sie im Hängebrüggbeizli etwas konsumieren, sonst CHF 1). Es ist überhaupt nicht gefährlich, aber sehr eindrücklich! Je nachdem, ob man Lust und Zeit hat und wie das Wetter ist, kann man vom Dorf Frutigen aus ca. 1 Stunde wandern, alles durch schöne Natur, Wald und entlang des Flusses, also nicht steil oder gefährlich. Dann können Sie die Hängebrücke überqueren, wo das Hängebrüggbeizli Eis, Kaffee, Kuchen, Wein, Getränke und, wenn Sie möchten, einen leckeren Hängebrügg-Teller serviert (hausgemachtes Brot, dünn geschnittenes Fleisch und Wurst, Trockenfleisch aus der Region und schmackhafter echter Alpkäse von der Elsigen – Alp mit dem kleinen See(!). Danach kann man auf der anderen Flussseite zurück ins Dorf Frutigen wandern, oder bei Bedarf mit dem Bus (Gästekarte = gratis) direkt bei der Hängebrücke (Bushaltestelle heisst auch Hostalden) zurück nach Frutigen fahren (bis zur Bushaltestelle Widi, direkt beim Supermarkt) und von dort drei Minuten zum Auto oder die Bushaltestelle beim Bahnhof nehmen.

C.) Gasterntal bei Kandersteg
20 Minuten Autofahrt von Frutigent nach Kandersteg (ganz durch Kandersteg am Dorfausgang😉) kann man gegen Gebühr selbst ins Gasterntal hinauffahren (nur für geübte Fahrer – steil, eng, Tunnel ohne Standstreifen…) oder den Gasternbus nehmen (nicht gratis).
https://www.gasterntal.chDas Gasterntal ist ein wunderbares Naturerlebnis. Mit der Bahn von Frutigen (Gästekarte = gratis) nach Kandersteg, das ist eine über 100 Jahre alte interessante Bergbahnstrecke mit 270°-Tunnels! Oder ab Frutigen mit dem Bus. Von Kandersteg mit dem Ortsbus und dem Gasternbus ins Gasterntal, eine unglaublich spannende Fahrt im steilen Fels mit einem Autotunnel. Wenn man aussteigt, findet man eine so schöne und unberührte Gegend vor, man kann dem Fluss entlang wandern, oder auf Berge klettern, wenn man will, so lange und so weit man will, es gibt Blumen und Wälder, man fühlt sich wie im Paradies! (Außer wenn der Bus alle 2 Stunden vorbeifährt ;). Es gibt auch Feuerstellen und weiter hinten im Tal (je nachdem, an welcher Haltestelle man aussteigt) ein Restaurant und eine wunderschöne Hängebrücke, die man ganz in der Nähe des Bergflusses bestaunen kann. Die Bushaltestelle für die Rückfahrt befindet sich direkt neben dem Restaurant. Das ist unvergesslich.
